Where can you go in Fort Collins to get Rocky Mountain oysters?

Rocky Mountain oysters? A bold food experiment. I salute you. From waaaaaaaaaay over here.

While not for everyone, some do claim them to be a delicacy. And if that's your thing, you're in luck. There are three places in or near Fort Collins to meet your need.

Bruce's Bar is probably the most famous restaurant in the area for RM Oysters, boasting all your can eat nights Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. While not in Fort Collins, if bulk eats is your thing, the drive to Severance is well worth it. A regular order will run you about $9. Add $3 more if you want to try Black Hills Oysters (Buffalo).

Jim's Wings in Campus West is frequently in the discussion for the best wings in Fort Collins. Byt buffalo wings aren't the only improperly named item on this menu. Jim's Surf and Turf combines of RM Oysters and calamari for $7.45.

The Sundance Steakhouse & Saloon on Mulberry says those are bulls people are riding, but with RM Oysters on the menu, don't be so sure. Made with a plain breading or with a mix of chili peppers, this dish will run you about $8.

And if frying them up isn't your thing, here's a Rocky Mountain oyster stew recipe to keep your warm and toasty through the winter months.

But please, no need to share.

Really.

It's fine.
